Hello!
I have a fun one today.
Every now and then I remember to get myself in a photo and this night I took one with my husband once we got back to the car. I really love how this layout turned out. I hope you like it too.
I really, really LOVE this little Scrawny Tree and how it represents the best of Christmas.
Way too often Christmas is commercial and I'm super over it, so this tree and the quote from Charlie Brown was perfect of this layout.
I used markers, chalk marker and just a touch of liquid pearls on my tree.
For the word Treasure from the Small Moments Border Words I used metallic chalk marker.
And my title piece is from The Little Things set.
I used ink pads to color it.
Then I added the fun Mini Holly and used liquid pearls to decorate it.
Thanks so much for coming by!
I hope you have the best people around for your holiday!!

Morning everyone!
Today I'm sharing a layout of my son from a fall photo shoot.
Every now and then I get busy scrapping along and add a tag to something that I want to put extra special journaling on, but wait until later to do the journaling. That is the case here.
I forgot and took the photos before remembering to add the journaling to the little card behind the photo. lol
So here I have a chipboard heart from this fun little pack where many of the Hearts will nest inside of the others. I really enjoy all the different sizes that come with the set.
I've layered some of my favorite acrylic Red Hearts with it.
Here you can see I started my title with the base of 2 nested hearts then added The Best Thinks in Life title over the top. To spruce it up a bit I added some Heart Clusters that are wood veneer.
Everything is colored with ink pads or markers.
Thanks!

I hope you've been enjoying some scrappy endeavors lately.
Today I'm sharing a back to school layout based on a sketch from Sketches In Thyme.
The sketch had some really fun layering behind the photo and it worked so well for this photo.
I'm positive I will use this sketch again.

What is summer without a little water right?
This is another creation for Creative Embellishments.
I used both chipboard (title) and wood veneer (glasses) on this layout.

Hello!
Today I'm sharing a layout based on a Sketches In Thyme's sketch:
I'll be honest, this one was hard for me.
I struggle with leaving this much white space. I knew it was going to be a hard sketch for me, but I also knew it was going to turn out awesome.

Sharing a layout I made using a sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash today:
Keeping this layout clean and simple really highlighted the photo of my son and husband hanging out together watching tv.
I created this layout for the challenge at Scrap Our Stash
My tools were a border punch for the paper border around the outer edge of the layout and then a nail file for matte of my photo.
Thanks for looking!

I made this fun layout using the challenge from Scrap our Stash:
Love it when the kids dress up to show their school spirit and of course little man had to get in on the picture.
I used washi tape the border my layout and you can see my journaling tag in the bottom right.
Thanks for dropping by!

Hi! Today I'm sharing a layout created with Creative Embellishment goodies.
I started off with a great photo and sketch designed by Rebecca Moore.
Then I picked out these fun chipboard words from the Determination word set at CE for my title.
I used the star envy stencil and some ink pads for my background, layered my papers similar to the sketch design and then had fun adding more embellies and my journaling.
I used chipboard nested stars, wood veneer soccer balls & acrylic mirrored silver stars.
Here are a few closeups:
Thanks so much for coming by!

Hey everyone!
I've got a fun layout using Creative Embellishment products today.
Let's jump right in.
I created this layout using some fun chipboard pieces and gel crayons that I just picked up.
So I was doing a bit of playing and learning.
I used orange and yellow crayons to make the flower cluster and dark blue and purple for the scroll. The birds were extra fun because I was layering the colors to see if I could get a more realistic look and I think they turned out pretty good.
On the first bird I used orange for the belly, light blue on the main body and one line of purple along the top. On this bird I a bit of yellow that blended with the light blue on the main body. I like the look it gave it. Then I finished with dark blue along the top. On both birds I used yellow for the feet.

We're getting a bit more sunshine around here and it feels fantastic!
Love me some sun and warmth.
Today I'm sharing a layout made for Scrap Our Stash challenge:
The challenge was to use the following sketch with circles on your layout.
Sometimes when you're looking at a sketch the colors or elements they use to design it can limit the potential you see in the sketch. That's one of the reasons I always turn my sketches to black and white. I find that color on a sketch is one of the most distracting things for me. But beyond that sometimes you can see flowers or hearts as embellishment place holders and it makes you think of certain photos or themes.
As you can see I change that up quite a bit too. My go to for embellishments are stars. I feel like they go with almost anything and I love them.
They were perfect for this photo of my son and husband watching and discussing their favorite sport; Wrestling.
