Snapshots w/ Kreaxions

Today is the Design Team August Reveal for Kreaxions!
The theme we are following this month is bright, summer or vacation.
I managed to get a little of all three in mine.

This is my youngest daughter at the beach. We went camping and got a day at the beach too, it was so much fun!

Use your circle cutter to make a 5 inch half circle. Then I used the B insert for punch #905 to create the background for my title.

One of my favorite ways to make my photos really "pop" is to use punches on them. Here I used the same punch (#905) in the corner of my photo. I just turned the whole thing over so I could see exactly where I was punching my photo.
Here's a couple more close-ups of my project:

Thanks for stopping by! You can see more from this reveal on the Just Imagine/Kreaxions blog.

Gooey w/ LMT

 Hello!
I feel summer coming to a close and I'm not quite ready.
I've not done enough "summer" things yet, like camping!

But I do have this fun page I made of my little guy enjoying a s'more on a camping trip we took a couple summers ago.
It's super easy and fun to replace pp or design elements on your page with tapes.

Here I've used Mint w/ Love from Love My Tapes as a patterned paper element. I thought it would be great to represent how much my son enjoyed his s'mores. I've also used it along the top as a design element to highlight the title of my page.

Then I used the skull tape to add a bit of rough and tumble to my layout w/o overwhelming it.
I used a gooey drip punch along the bottom border of my journaling paper. It was sold at Halloween, but it's perfect for gooey messes!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Smile

I'm missing this girl just a bit so scrapping some photos of her is a good solution, even if they are a bit older.

I used the sketch from Chattering Robin's blog for this layout.
I had tons of fun using gelatos, misting & stencils along with lots of fun embellies.

I started with some papers & stickers from Glitz Wild & Free line.

Then dug into some older fall kits to find embellies that would go with the fall colors in my photo.

I finished up with some of my fun Robin's Nest dew drops.

My Sweet Boy w/ MS&M

 Hello and happy Friday!
Today I'm sharing with you the layout I made based on this sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

I don't know what you're thinking but this sketched screamed "silhouette" at me, so that is exactly what I did. I pulled out my silhouette and went to work.

This photo of my son was perfect!
I picked my background page and then pulled out this piece of blue that I had leftover from another layout. Then I went to work on my computer designing my page.

I actually ran the blue page through 2x. I did my hearts and then decided I should do my title the same way.

I used a border punch for the sides, made sure I popped everything with foam adhesive and then the embellishing was easy.

But it still didn't quite feel done, which is when I decided to put my white pen to work.
And I LOVE the result.

You can see more cool layouts based on this sketch on the blog and even join in for your chance at the monthly prize.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday card w/ LMT

Today I have 2 awesome cards for you using Love My Tapes washi tape.

For this Celebrate card I started with a white cardstock base, then added the awesome Happy Birthday tape. After that I layered the rest of the card with this cool Black Diamond tape. The design didn't quite match up if I layered one above the other so I just overlapped them a bit to make it flow.

Then I added a few strips of the Chalkboard Numbers, but cut out the blank black space between number sets. Next I added my sentiment and decided it needed a little help popping, so I used the Red Chevron tape to get the job done.

It's fun to punch through cards so you can see a bit of the inside from the front and with this bold color scheme I thought a bit of orange showing through would look good.

This next card is super fun and easy:

I started with a white base (but I'm thinking some color will be fun for the next one!) and lined up the awesome Happy Birthday tape on a diagonal.

On each side of that I put the yellow stars and then the blue stars and then to finish it off, a few white liquid pearls dots.
See? Easy and fun!

Have a great week,
:)Ange

Cards w/ Kreaxions

Hello!
I hope you're having a great week.
Today I wanted to share a few cards I've created lately using the fun Kreaxions punches:

First up U R Awesome!

I used the Kreaxions Star Stencil Octagon to make this cool card.
I started with a fun base for my card and then held the stencil over the pp and cut around the stencil to make the star shape.

From there it was really easy to punch around each corner with punch #909 Polar Sun. I love how easy it was and it looks so awesome!

Next up - Happy Birthday

For this card I used Moxxie's All Star Baseball line along with the circle cutter to create the design in the middle.

I used punch #909 for the circle also and the negative from the punch along the top border.

Then along the bottom I used punch #311.

Last, but definitely not least, is this gorgeous card:

I started with my base and used punch 311 along the bottom of the front flap using the flat edged insert A. Then I used my gelatos to add some fun color.

I made the center decoration using the Star stencil. Then I finished up with a sticker sentiment and a bit of liquid pearls.

Thanks for stopping by today!
