Grace and Read

Have you seen the newest lines from Photo Play
Well I was lucky enough to win this one, Belle Vie by Julie Nutting and I put it to good use on this layout of my daughter.

I used a sketch from The Scrap Room and just enjoyed the fun and easy page making with these great cardstock stickers.

I really loved the boldness of the stickers and used them to really stand out for my title between the photos. My journaling is tucked behind the photo on a journaling card.

Up next, these super cute photos of my husband reading to our youngest son:

I used a sketch from Scrapbook Circle for this one. I love these photos of my son so intent on listening to the story. He is 6 now and struggling just a little with his reading. I was hoping having this reminder of how much he loved reading would help encourage him to keep working hard.
I'm going to hang this one on my wall to inspire him.

Lots of layers and bright colors, perfect!

Together

 Hello!
Up today this layout:

These photos are from a wax museum my son was part of in his 3rd grade but I got these precious photos of my younger son loving on his older brother and I thought they would be perfect for this layout.

I used a fun sketch from Stick it Down and used the hearts in place of the squares on the sketch.
I added my journaling with strips of journaling boxes and extra papers.

I let the 'Love' on my background paper stand as one of my "squares" for the sketch and then added a bit of embellishment here and there until I felt like the layout was finished.

Beautiful You

 Hello there!
Today I have this lovely layout to share with you:

I based it on a sketch from Pinkfresh Studio and used the Feb. kit from Scrapbook Circle.

I took this fun heart stitched background paper for my base,

followed the sketch with just a few adjustments,

and put my title and journaling right on top of my photo.

January

Hi! I'm up today on the Sketches in Thyme blog using this awesome sketch from Shawn Lahr!

Here's what I've done with it:

This sketch was perfect for some dance photos. They tend to be easier to cut down and I have so many of them....

You can see all of the fun layers in these photos.

The line I used didn't have any pink in it, but I made it work with the photos by adding pink washi tape and pink embellies.

I think it turned out pretty good.
Thanks for stopping by!
