Today I...

I have a Nuts layout for you! The sketch is a 2 page sketch, but I used just the left side for this layout. Here's the sketch:

And here is my layout. I used the Scraptastic club's Feb kit. Everything you see is from the kit except the yellow washi tape, butterflies, ink around the edges and marker.
I layered the washi over one of the cb hexagons in the kit and then layered it over a piece of scrap cs to put below the title piece to help the words pop.

If you have any questions just leave a comment. Thanks for stopping by! :)Ange

Nas lo reveal - Adventure

Here's my layout for today's sketch, you can find the sketch here:

I love seeing my kids enjoy books and I've been lucky enough to have 3 of 3 kids so far really love reading. So this little guy is #4 and so far it looks like he's going to be a reader too (if those darn video games don't get in the way). He had just had a bath before these pictures were taken, so I really love the way his hair curls and shines in the photos. We have since cut those cute little curls off and I so miss them.
Pretty much everything you see here was from the Jan. Scraptastic chasing pavement kit and add-on. Oh, I did add my own toothpick for the flag and stickles, ink and washi tape from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by! :)Ange

Hangin' Out

And eating a little ice cream is a great way to spend a warm summer day! I'm looking forward to some warmer days here soon, I hope. Today Shawn posted a 2 page sketch for your scrappy pleasure (Here) and this is what I came up with using it.

My oldest son celebrating his birthday with a couple of friends and his sister. Nothing better than towel hammocks and a big bowl of ice cream right?
I used mostly Imaginisce products here, did a little inking, taping and pop-dotting.

supplies:
Imaginisce - pp, die-cuts, 3D die-cut
american crafts - alphas
sei - ink
stampin up - markers
ek tools - foam tape
tombow - tape runner
stash - cs, tape

Quick Valentines

Today I'm going to show you some quick, easy Valentines. I made up five real fast with this so cute and fun Moxxie XOXO line. My daughters love this paper and can't wait to share these fun Valentines with their friends. Here's a photo of the finished Valentines:

And here is a photo to help with the directions:
1- I cut my paper 5x6, but you could really adjust this to about anything you wanted depending on what you were putting in the Valentine.
2- use a strong adhesive to seal in a tube shape. I used permanent double sided tape by ek tools.
3- seal one end flat using the same tape and add candies.
4- seal the other end in the opposite direction. Then I scored about 1/4 inch up each end to give it a more "finished" look. (I did try staples in one but didn't like the look at all)

There you go. Easy and quick. I hope you get to share something sweet with someone special this Valentines. :)Ange

NAS reveal #251

I was a bit slow with my layout this week, but I LOVE how it turned out. Check it:

I had a lot of fun making this layout and tried a couple new things too. Everything you see here came from Scraptastic Club's Jan kit and add-on.

I've also posted the sketch below but you can find this sketch, more example layouts using it and a ton more sketches if you check out Shawn's blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I would love to hear what you think in the comments. :)Ange

My project for you today is a layout with my son. He loves putting on hats, boots and shooting any and all kinds of guns. Oh and being tough. lol

Every paper, sticker and die-cut you see is from the line. That's what I love about Moxxie lines, everything you need to make a great layout is already there. I fussy cut around the hat and rope to slip the red pp and photos under, then did the sheriff star and pop-dotted it off the photo, backed and pop-dotted the Buckaroo sticker, added a little bit of pen work with black and white pens, used a star border punch to punch the stars out of the Boot Scootin' paper, then added them to the layout and used a little white ink around the edges of the layout.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed the hop! :)Ange
