Peace Love & Pineapples

Check out this fun layout I made using the sketch from Freckled Fawn:

I am totally loving their sketches!
This layout just really made itself. I had this cute photo of my daughter dressing up for Spirit Week and with all the fun summer product out there it was easy to put together.

In these closeups you can see that I used different layers to bring a little more depth to the layout.

I also added some of these fun dew drops I've recently rediscovered in my stash.
Thanks for dropping in!

Treasure

 Hey!
I have this super fun layout to share with you today:

I used a sketch from Scrap the Boys for this layout.
I had so much fun with these pics of my little guy washing is found "Treasure", going with a sea/pirate theme just fit.
Here are a few closeups:

I had to dig into 2 different sets of letters to get what I needed for my title, so I just spruced up my white letters a bit to help them compete better for attention on the white background.

The design of the sketch allowed for some fun journaling along the bottom of this main banner.

I finished up by using my skull and crossbones punch on the paper in the lower right corner and then adding it to bottom of the banner under the photos.

Thanks for sailing in!

All Girl w/ SOS

So today is my first reveal on the Scrap Our Stash blog and I am SO excited!!
The SOS blog has 2 different challenges each month to encourage you to get in there and scrap your stash. First up is the tic-tac-toe board.
You add three things to your layout from the board by using a row, column or diagonal.
Here's the board:

I went the diagonal line including Number, Stars & Banner.
Here is my layout:

This layout was so FUN! I picked out these pics of my daughter ripsticking and found a kit in my stash that was at least a year old that was all about paint and splatters. It was perfect!

So I started with this brick patterned paper for my background and then sprayed it with colorful dylusions ink sprays. After letting that dry I added my star patterned paper and fun layers of washi tape.

I kept embellishing adding lots of detail, a banner and some numbers for a date at them bottom over the top of some die cut cans of spray paint.

I can't wait to see what you do with the challenge! You have until the 29th to enter for the prize on the Scrap Our Stash blog.

Thanks for swinging by!

Round and Round

Have you been by the Sketches In Thyme blog yet?
They've got some great sketches over there.
Today I'm sharing with you my take on the 2nd week sketch for July.
Here's what I did:

Here's the sketch I used by Shawn Lahr:

Super fun and perfect for my photos, don't you think?
Here's a few closeups of my layout:

I started by adding some white dylusions ink spray splatters to my background and then started cutting patterned papers into circles.

Next up I added my photos and title around the main photo.

Then finished up with some rhinestones and fun embellishments.
Check out the rest of this month's sketches on the SIT blog and enter to win the fabulous prize!

Yeah!

A little bit of weekend fun using the sketch from Elle's Studio:

I created this fun layout:

I made my own star template to spray the stars on my background, pulled out my Elle's Studio papers and picked one to back my photo.

Then I added some fun Elle's embellishments along with the labels and washi tape

The fun part of my title was that I had these letters sitting their already colored from a previous project, so I put them to work here and it was perfect.
