Softball Game Day layout

 Is it really July?
I'm ready for a camping trip or something.

The challenge for Scrap Our Stash was to use the sketch and red, white, and blue.
I went with a baseball line that was mostly red, white and blue and added some softball stickers to represent fast-pitch for this layout of my daughter playing her favorite game.

Check out the challenge here & play along to win.

You're beautiful layout

Can you believe it's April already?
It's hard for me to believe, but all of the snow and snowstorms aren't exactly helping.
I'm hoping it feels a bit more like spring by the end of the month.
Crossing my fingers.

I have this gorgeous layout to share with you based on the sketch and challenge from Scrap Our Stash.
All of the details are on the blog here.

Wishing you a bit of sunny spring weather.

Joy layout

Scrap Our Stash is shaking things up a bit this year.
They've changed to one challenge and month.
Here's my layout for the Jan. challenge

The challenge is to use the sketch and whatever twist comes with it. This month it's 3+ different patterned papers and 3+ different embellishments.

You can see the sketch and other designers take on it on the Scrap Our Stash blog here.

Hope you play along this month!

Waiting for Santa layout

I hope you're all enjoying the holidays!
Today I'm sharing a layout about my littlest waiting in line to see Santa. He was so curious, he had to go up and check out what was going on and I grabbed a couple photos. It was super cute.

I created this for the SOS challenge.
You use their sketch and there's usually a twist. This month it's "anything goes".
Check out their blog and play along!

Thanks!

Hello Winter layout

It's December!
I have to be honest, from here until spring I just want everything to speed up so I can be warm again.
But in the meantime, I'll do winter layouts to share.

Today I'm creating for Scrap Our Stash and the challenge is to use 2 or more of the shapes; triangles, diamonds or hexagons.
As you can see I've done both diamonds and triangles.
I was creating the diamonds for my title area and the triangles were a result, so I added them at the top for a banner, embellishment cluster.

Thanks!

Family layout

I have another layout based on a Scrap Our Stash challenge for you today:

Using the sketch and faux stitching based on the challenge really made this layout fun to make.
I used the faux stitching around the outer edge of the layout and around the patterned paper pieces and photos. It turned out really cute.

Thanks so much for checking out my layout!

Pumpkin Patch layout

 Hello
November already.
I'm really going to miss October, but that does mean we have a new challenge to share with you today.
From Scrap Our Stash, I created this layout for it:

Using the fall colors from the challenge and adding some leaves I made this fun layout of my little guy with the pumpkin he picked at the patch when he was able to go with his school class. He had so much fun and LOVED his pumpkin.

Thanks for joining me today.
I hope you have fun creating with this challenge too.

Memories layout

Sharing a layout I made using a sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash today:

Keeping this layout clean and simple really highlighted the photo of my son and husband hanging out together watching tv.

Thanks for coming by today!

Hello Pumpkin layout

I created this layout for the challenge at Scrap Our Stash

My tools were a border punch for the paper border around the outer edge of the layout and then a nail file for matte of my photo.

Thanks for looking!

School Spirit layout

I made this fun layout using the challenge from Scrap our Stash:

Love it when the kids dress up to show their school spirit and of course little man had to get in on the picture.
I used washi tape the border my layout and you can see my journaling tag in the bottom right.

Volleyball layout

 Happy June to you all!
I hope you're getting outdoors a bit and enjoying some fun and sun.
Today I'm sharing a layout based on a sketch from Scrap Our Stash.

I turned the sketch to fit my photos and just had so much fun with this layout. Normally my volleyball photos are from my older daughter's team and those tend to be school colors. So with this camp layout I used a lot of the elements that had colors that do not go with the school layout.

Thanks for stopping by!

Warming Up layout

Welcome and happy June!
I may have mentioned this but I'm super excited to have some warmer weather to run around in.
True to form I have another ballpark layout for you based on a challenge from Scrap Our Stash.

It's fun to watch them enjoy what they're doing.
My son's team was up to bat, so he grabbed helmet and started warming up.
He was not on deck or in the hole, but he was definitely ready to bat. lol

The challenge was to use an item on your layout for each letter in the word SCRAP.
I used
S- stickers, scraps;
C- pop can for ink rings;
R- Ranger Inks, rub-ons;
A- Alphas;
P- patterned paper, pictures

on my layout for the challenge.

Happy Scrapping to you!
:)Angela

Stay Curious layout

Can you believe we're already halfway through May?
I think this year is going to fly by.

Today I'm sharing a layout based on a sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

I just loved the way this layout turned out. The sketch was fun and butterflies are usually pretty easy to use. These photos are of my son and I posing after he used every barrette we had in my hair. Most kids go through stages of wanting to do hair and I sure don't mind having it played with. It reminded me of the days that I used to do my dads hair. lol

Thanks for stopping by today!

Adorable layout

Hello and happy May to you all!
Today I have a fun challenge from Scrap Our Stash.

I created this layout using the sketch and mixed media:

I really loved the sketch so it made it a bit easier to create this layout but I think the best part was the patterned paper that I cut the "arrow" from. The sunset look was perfect for this photo of my son playing in the water on the trampoline on and warm summer day.

I used bits of brightly colored ink spray on my background for the mixed media portion of the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
