Big Sister w/ Kreaxions

Today is the June reveal for Just Imagine Crafts/ Kreaxions.
The theme? Fun & Bright!
I think I got that with this layout:

I started with the idea to make my banner pieces using the fun punches. I'm using #909 & #912, they just feel really summery to me.

I even added a few stickers and embellishments to enhance them even more.

I was having a hard time getting this photo to fit on the page nicely so I ended up "hanging" it in the sky on the banner. Perfect! I continued the use of the punches by using them on some of my photos also.

I used Punch 909 to make these layered borders and keep the feel of the page from top to bottom.

Summer layout

I have the cutest layout to share with you today!
I just love everything about this layout!!

I wanted to use these fun bright papers from Bo Bunny, so I picked these cute, goofy photos of my son in his swimsuit and some bold and bright washi tapes from Love My Tapes and went to work.

I love making arrows with chevron tape. Here I've clustered a few fun embellies I picked up at the last Let's Create Expo in Sandy, Utah.

For my bold corners I layered the Red, Yellow, Green tape with every other layer going the opposite direction and then just lined them up to make a wave look. I also layered a couple rows of Skull tape to put part of my title on.

To help my title really pop I used this fun bold orange tape and then made pleats with it. You just fold it back on itself as you go across the page. I also followed this sketch I found by Laura Whitaker on Stuck?! sketches site.

It's All about that BASE w/ Moxxie

We're in the middle of softball and baseball seasons, so here is a fun little treat you can make to encourage your team.

I used the awesome Fast Pitch line from Moxxie. Specifically the back side of the cutouts page. From the moment I saw that stitch print I knew I wanted to use it to do something fun like this.

So I used it as the base and worked up the rest of my quote and elements between my computer and my silhouette. I love Megan Trainor's song It's all about the Bass, but being a softball player, the first thing that comes to mind for me is BASE! lol
So I used my computer and some yellow doodlebug cardstock to create the top portion, then designed my own home plate on my silhouette and cut it from some plain white cardstock and then, slightly larger, from some black cardstock.

I ran the white plates through my printer to add the rest of the quote and then added ink and some fussy cut softballs from the front side of the cutouts page. I made 15 of them and added little Baby Ruth candy bars to them.

And here's a photo of my girl doing what she loves!

Hope you're enjoying your summer season.

Cruising Together w/ MS&M sketches

 Hello,
I have a super fun sketch to share with you today from My Scraps & More sketches.

And here is what I did with it:

My younger daughter is not a big fan of amusement park rides and her younger brother is little enough that he can't go on the bigger kid rides yet. It was so cute when she offered to go on this ride with him, so he wasn't going alone every time. What a sweet big sister!
They had a ton of fun hamming it up for the camera too.

Here are a few closeups. I followed the sketch really closely.

But added a few extra stickers for some more fun detail and then did my journaling around the main portion of the page.

The alphas blended in with background, so I outlined them with a thick black pen to make it easier to read.
I hope you're all having a wonderfully fun summer!

#1 Coach w/ Moxxie & Kreaxions

 Hi!
It's a busy time of year for coaches and I have fun little card to say thanks for all that hard work.

I started with a patterned paper base from the Moxxie Fast Pitch line and using the extra pieces I punched my top border with Punch #311 by Kreaxions from the B-side of the paper.

The piece I used here is the part you might throw away, but I thought it was perfect for this fun sports card.

I finished decorating with my sentiment and some Moxxie rub-on bats.

Sk8r Boi w/ MS&M

 It's sketchy Friday!
Today I'm working with this fun sketch from My Scraps & More:

And here's my take on it:

This sketch is super fun and easy to use!

I started with a pattern for my base page and added misted designs here and there.

Then I used some cool washi tape from Love My Tapes to layout out the grid design.

Then you just have fun embellishing.
You can join in the fun and have a chance at a cool prize by entering the challenge at the My Scraps & More sketches blog. Check it out here.
