All Star Player w/ MS&M

 Hello!
Today is sketchy Friday!!
I am a HUGE sketch fan. They make the scrapping process so fun and easy.
Today I'm using this sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

Here is my take on this fun sketch:

I can't tell you how much fun it is to watch this girl play!
Over the years she has evolved it to one heck of a good player. She really loves the game and has so much fun on the court. Her happiness makes me smile.

As you can see I rearranged the sketch a bit to go with my photos, which then changed where I put the title. But you can definitely see the sketch still.

I splashed a bit of blue and yellow dylusions on my white background to get started. Then used Moxxie's Volleyball line and black alphas.

I finished up with a blue and yellow hand drawn marker border. It just didn't feel finished w/o it.

Fall w/ My Scraps & More Sketches

Hello! Today is sketchy Friday with this fab sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

And here is my take on it:

I can't think of anything more entertaining to do with leaves than watch your kids pile them up and jump in them. They were having so much fun this day!

I stuck fairly close to the sketch on this layout.

Since there wasn't any suggested areas for embellishment I just added them wherever I felt like it.

I had these cute chipboard letters that I hadn't used at all so I put them to work here.

As you can see I made my grids larger than on the sketch and instead of adding patterned paper here, I went with a cluster of embellishments. I think it was the perfect touch for this layout.

Discover layout w/ MS&M and LMT

 Hey! It's sketchy Friday!!!
Today's sketch from My Scraps & More is awesome!
And it was totally screaming for Love My Tapes, so I put them both to work.

 And my layout:

I pulled out a white piece of cardstock, grabbed my tapes and got busy.

I followed the sketch with the Brick Tape, but I used 2 layers side by side to make it wider. Then I added the Colorful Bold Dots tape. After getting those on I decided to go off the sketch a bit and added my third strip out on it's own.

I took the Sky or Clouds w/ Love tape and laid it out on my cutting mat. Then I used a ruler and my cutting knife to slice it the long way. I took the thin strips and added them in each square of my layout. I did beveled corners because I like the way they look.

I added faux stitching along the side of the Clouds tape to keep the fun look it gave the sketch.

To finish up, add some fun embellishments, a bit of blue splatters, enamel dots and cute stickers.

My Sweet Boy w/ MS&M

 Hello and happy Friday!
Today I'm sharing with you the layout I made based on this sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

I don't know what you're thinking but this sketched screamed "silhouette" at me, so that is exactly what I did. I pulled out my silhouette and went to work.

This photo of my son was perfect!
I picked my background page and then pulled out this piece of blue that I had leftover from another layout. Then I went to work on my computer designing my page.

I actually ran the blue page through 2x. I did my hearts and then decided I should do my title the same way.

I used a border punch for the sides, made sure I popped everything with foam adhesive and then the embellishing was easy.

But it still didn't quite feel done, which is when I decided to put my white pen to work.
And I LOVE the result.

Capture Love w/ My Scraps & More

Happy Scrappy Friday!
I hope you're all having a great day.
Today I have this fun sketch from My Scraps & More sketches to share with you:

And here is the page I made using it:

I LOVE this photo of my youngest son and his dad.
I was doing photos of my family and saw this and snapped a picture. Seriously perfect!

I pulled out an old kit that had some fun embellies in it and got to work with the sketch.
I started with a kraft background, misted it with white dylusions, let it dry and then added some gelatos with a heart stencil. I just rubbed the gelatos onto a napkin and then used the napkin to rub onto the layout through the stencil.

After you get the base of the layout put together following the sketch, it's super fun to embellish. For the most part I stuck with the sketch but added or changed here and there where it fit my needs/wants best.

These fun embellishments I used for my title were the main reason I grabbed this kit.
Perfect title to go with a perfect photo.

Fireworks w/ MS&M & Moxxie

I have a super fun sketch to share with you today!

Don't you just LOVE this sketch? Me too!
And here is the page I created using it:

I started with a Heidi Swapp stencil & some dylusions to make my red and blue bursts. Then I added some pp strips from the All Star Baseball line by Moxxie.

Then I used some fun rub-ons from Moxxie to add cute embellishment and my title.

I created this cool embellishment by using the star stencil by Just Imagine Crafts and their #912 Punch

I finished up by using the cutouts from the punching and some red liquid pearls for more embellishing.

Cruising Together w/ MS&M sketches

 Hello,
I have a super fun sketch to share with you today from My Scraps & More sketches.

And here is what I did with it:

My younger daughter is not a big fan of amusement park rides and her younger brother is little enough that he can't go on the bigger kid rides yet. It was so cute when she offered to go on this ride with him, so he wasn't going alone every time. What a sweet big sister!
They had a ton of fun hamming it up for the camera too.

Here are a few closeups. I followed the sketch really closely.

But added a few extra stickers for some more fun detail and then did my journaling around the main portion of the page.

The alphas blended in with background, so I outlined them with a thick black pen to make it easier to read.
I hope you're all having a wonderfully fun summer!

Sk8r Boi w/ MS&M

 It's sketchy Friday!
Today I'm working with this fun sketch from My Scraps & More:

And here's my take on it:

This sketch is super fun and easy to use!

I started with a pattern for my base page and added misted designs here and there.

Then I used some cool washi tape from Love My Tapes to layout out the grid design.

Then you just have fun embellishing.

Magical Memories w/ MS&M

Today I'm sharing with you this lovely sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

I used the fun Magical Moments line from Moxxie:

And created this layout:

These are some old pictures from a trip to Disney World back in the day.
Unfortunately my photos skills weren't what I would have liked but these photos still represent beautiful moments that I will always cherish. I've found that cutting these photos down can actually help you focus on what you were really trying to capture and this sketch was perfect for that.

I did a lot of layering of the fun cut outs and stickers. Including using the black circles that come on the sticker sheet to create my own mickey head!

I love using the stickers but don't always want to use the entire thing, so I just cut out the portion I do want, like I did here with the flower.

New Release Spring Hop! & MS&M sketch

Hello and happy Friday!
It's an awesome day to be at my blog. I'm part of the Moxxie New Release Spring Hop and I'm sharing an awesome sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches.
I'm working with Moxxie's New Fast Pitch line!! Check it out:

I love everything about this line! It's going to be awesome for recording all the memories I have of my girls playing ball and I'm sure I'll use it for a team treat or two.

Here's what I've created to share with you today:

I used this sketch from My Scraps & More:

I started with a kraft base and inked it up. Then layered some Play with Heart along the bottom and topped it with the bar code strip from cutouts.

As you can see I stuck really close to the sketch using the stickers and quotes from the line to spruce up my layout.

I used some fun washi tape and the red Moxxie alphas for my title.
