Merry layout

I have a really pretty Christmas layout for you today.
I live in a very small town but they know how to pull off a pretty good Holiday parade!
When the temperature is in the positive numbers it's a good time.

I based this layout on a challenge from Scrap Our Stash

I used the left side of the sketch. For my 8+ scrap items I have: patterned paper, chipboard embellies, stickers, washi tape, die-cuts, rhinestone snowflakes, jewel stars & liquid pearls

Here are a couple close up photos for detail.

Come on over to the Scrap Our Stash blog and play along!
We'd love to see your layout.

Brr layout

Hello, hello!
Today I've got another awesome layout based on a challenge from Scrap Our Stash.

Here's the challenge:

Here is my layout:

To start I picked a line with gold in it because I struggle a little with color challenges. Turned out I was pretty good at finding items with gold in them though.

I put my journaling on this kraft tag but then added a little doodling to the back so it would add to the page instead of showing it journal side up or having a plain back.

This large ornament came with the kit that had this paper line it. I really liked the idea of using ornaments hanging from the top just like the sketch so I added this cute santa to it and then put a couple more on. I tied some twine in bows to add at the top of each ornament.

I finished my layout up with some stickles! lol It's been a bit since I used them. Worked perfect.
Thanks for coming by!

Believe layout

Hey there!
I'm super excited to share this fun layout with you today:

It's based on this sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

I used the left side of the sketch and added my scallop edge along this border piece similar to the sketch:

Here are a few more closeups:

I added a little bit of depth to some of my elements with some foam adhesive dots.

Sweet card

I needed a quick card for a gift and this sketch #157 from
Sketch N Scrap was perfect.
I was happy to pull out some papers from a line I wasn't sure I'd use for this card too.

The papers and embellishments are really pretty but just not something I use a lot in my scrapbooking. Plus I'm not a fan of flowery things.
Anyway, they worked perfect for this card.

Big Sisters are Awesome! layout

Hello!
Today I have a fun fall layout for you.
I used a sketch challenge from Scrap Our Stash for this layout.
Here's the challenge:

And here is my layout:

Inspired by the challenge I made a layout of my kids playing together on a Saturday. It's fun to watch them work and play right? They raked all of these leaves out of the neighbors yard and brought them into ours to have fun with. lol

I stuck fairly close to the layout by doing lots of patterned paper layers.

I tried to give the impression of flying leaves by using the leaf stickers around the final photo in my photo sequence.

Using a long title is hard for me sometimes but I really like the way this one turned out and it tells you a lot about the photos in a quick glance. I also used my fruit embellishment here, an apple.

Make sure you play along with our challenge and enter yours on the Scrap Our Stash blog for a chance to win this month's prize!

Cheer card

I also have this pretty card to share.
Again using a challenge from Sketch N Scrap.

I used card sketch #156.
I really like the way this one turned out and I think it's just the combination of papers and colors, but it's a favorite.

Thanks for stopping in!

25th card

Today I'm sharing a card I made to go along with the sketch challenge at Sketch N Scrap.

This goes with card sketch #155
I thought this sketch was perfect for using some of the wreath stickers that I would be less likely to use on a layout. Then I added my sentiment and some fun little snowflakes.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Walk layout

Hey there!
I have another fun fall/Halloween layout for you today.
I used this challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

Here's my layout:

I used the right side of the sketch but used larger photos so I have 4 instead of 6. My tag and twine are in the bottom right hand corner and my tab is in the top left.
Here are a few closeups:

I used washi tape as one of my layers along the bottom and then clustered some fun stickers in the corner with my tag.

I let my photo be my title and added the tab & date along with the cute stickers above the photo to help bring the eye to it.
I used ink around the edges of my patterned papers but let the rest of the layout be pretty clean.

Don't forget to enter your version of this challenge on the Scrap Our Stash blog for your chance to win.

Spooky lil Pumpkins layout

 Hey there!
We have officially gotten to my favorite holiday of the year! I love me some Halloween!!!
So this challenge was right up my alley.

Here's the layout I made:

I started by picking my photos and then pulled things from various Halloween lines I have. I chose a background that was a little on the plain side, but it has the required orange for the challenge in the pumpkins on the border. I love that it was black because it really helped the rest of my elements pop.

After that I added my patterned paper and washi tape layers before dripping the Ranger inks over my layout.

After it dried I added my photos and then started adding all the fun little embellishments.

I left this bottom corner a bit plain so my title would really pop. After I got it on there then I added a few more embellishments until I liked the look.

For my word I used these products:
C- circle stickers
A- Alphas
S- spiders
P- Pumpkins
E- Eyes
R- Ranger ink sprays

Come join us as Scrap Our Stash and show us your fun layout!

Camping layout

Hello!
I had a lot of fun with this layout and even more fun camping with my family.
We are hoping to get one more camping trip in this year before it gets too cold.

Here's is the challenge:

I chose to use the right side which made it super easy to add lots of banners to my layout.

Here are a few closeups:

I started with a kraft background and inked it up with lots of brown ink. I love doing that for my camping and outdoor layouts. I feel like it really adds to the dirty outdoor feeling.
Then I layered pattern papers and stickers for the banners.

Then I used washi tape and a border sticker along the edge of the banners. I also layered die-cuts and stickers for my title area.

To finish it all off I used chipboard stickers, wood epoxy buttons, and enamel dots.
Remember you can enter this challenge on the Scrap Our Stash blog!

Learn layout

Hey!
Today I'm sharing this super fun back-to-school layout using this challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

I used the sketch, the back-to-school theme and lots of educational symbols on my layout:

I used a bit of spray ink on my background and then inked the edges of my patterned papers to help them pop off the page. The strips above and below my photos are washi tape. From there I added some die cuts and the apple/worm wood piece then I spruced it all up with some enamel stars, hearts and triangles.

Don't forget to post your layout on the SOS blog for your chance to win!

OMG layout

 OMG!
I have the best layout to share with you today!!
I used this fun pick your side sketch from Scrap Our Stash:

I picked the left side of the sketch and had so much fun using the emoji line to really show off these cute pics of my daughter getting her first phone call from a crush. lol

I used patterned paper for my background to make it just a bit easier to get 5+ patterns on there. The others are the 3 strips under the photos and the circle to the left of the photos.

I added my twine around my circle to bring a little more attention to this photo of my daughter and her laughing a little after I asked her "Is is a BOY?!" Her reaction was laughing embarrassment. lol

This layout was just so much fun!
I hope you join us at SOS for this challenge and have fun making your own layout.

Happiness Family

Hello, hello!
Today I bring you a super fun layout I made using the August Scrap Our Stash Cartoon challenge:

So the challenge is to use the cartoon as inspiration to create a family themed layout using the sketch and mixed alphas. Here is my take on the challenge:

So here's my family having some water fun and I even remembered to get some group pictures. Honestly I'm not too great at that lately.
You can see my mixed alphas and I stuck fairly close to the sketch.
Here are some closeups:

Thanks so much for swinging by!
