Beware w/ Moxxie & Let's Get Sketchy

Did you know that Moxxie is sponsoring Let's Get Sketchy?
And I got to play along!

They gave us this sketch:

I used the awesome Zombie Attack line that Moxxie has donated to one of their lucky winners!

And this is what I made:

I am having SO much fun working with this line!!
First I played with this photo in photoshop, then I distressed the edges and used my scissors to make scratches on it.
As you can see I turned the sketch on its side to fit the orientation of my photo, then I layered papers and used the barcode strips to create the longest strip under the photo. Splash some mist on the layers for the fun, creepy look.

Layer stickers and outline them with a black pen to make them pop off the page.

I did a lot of distressing on all of my papers and then used a bark ink to "dirty" up the white edge that was revealed. Last I used this combination of stickers for my title area.

This line is AWESOME! You can play along with Let's Get Sketchy this month for a chance to win it AND you can join us on the Moxxie blog for another chance.
Thanks for stopping by!

Got Brains? w/ NAS and Moxxie

I have a really fun layout for you today!
I started with this sketch from Nuts About Sketches:

And this line from Moxxie. Check here for a chance to WIN!

And created this:

I seriously have so much fun making "blood" with ink. lol I may or may not have even giggled a little as I created this....

This wasn't even a Halloween photo, but my son has this Zombie shirt that he really loves. It reads: Zombies Eat Brains, don't worry, you're safe. My son would run around telling everyone "you don't have a brain!" Totally cracked me up and I wanted to document the memory. This photo of him at the fire house on a Pre-school field trip seemed perfect. He already had that zoned out look, he was wearing the shirt and I put the photo in photoshop and took out a bit of color to give him a bit of a pale look.

I stayed fairly close to the sketch, but added this zombie cut card instead of a photo.

Some popped up eyeballs, fun stickers and a bit of bling finish off the page.

You can WIN this line HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Halloween Hoppin' with Moxxie!

Thanks for stopping by! Today we are Halloween Hoppin' w/ Moxxie.
You can find the beginning of the hop HERE.
And the PRIZE is one of these awesome lines!

Details on how to win at the bottom of the post.

I used the totally fantastically awesome Zombie Attack line for this layout:

My son was the cutest little skeleton and he is totally addicted to sweets of almost any kind. I swear he can sniff them out from anywhere.
I was looking at the stickers in this line and thought it would be really fun to use the Got Flesh? sticker as a fun twist on a title for my layout. From there I just went with the flow.
I really love using red ink as "blood" so I had fun splattering and splashing all I could.

I like sanding the edges of my photos, it gives them a really cool look especially for a creepy page. So I tried it on the edges of the Hallowed Ground pp and then saturated it with red ink. So much fun!

Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

First I want to thank all of my followers!
I enjoy seeing what you're up to as much as I like showing what I've been up to. Thanks for sharing in this wonderful hobby with me. I hope we have many more years together creating and sharing.

Now for my winner of this super fun line At the Ballpark:
Oh and did I mention I'm adding in some of these awesome rub-ons? Seriously, we should call these Aww-rub-ons because they are so AWESOME they go on like butter, just use the tip of your fingernail, that's it! And they don't stick until you push on the backing, so if you drop them on your table, no worries!

These are a little darker in real life, perfect for this line! And

The winner is......................... blbabe1234!!

Have you seen them?

Don't miss my giveaway HERE.

Moxxie's new releases!
There are 7 new releases and they are ALL so awesome!
I don't even know where to start, but I will do my best.
Check it out:

This, Brainiac, line is so fun! I love the "nerdy" glasses the owl is wearing and I can't wait to use it with photos of my daughter and her nerd chic glasses that she got "just for fun"! Of course my favorite parts are the owls with polka dots and the chalkboard algorithims. Yep, I'm a bit of a nerd myself. lol
And do you see all those alphas! I am totally set I tell you. I've ordered multiples of every color!

I have to say normally I wouldn't be overly excited for a football line but Grid Iron is just fantastic! It will go great with the photos I got of my son playing flag football this past May. Not to mention the Superbowl activities I can use it on. Even if I watch just for the commercials right? ;)

Next up is this gorgeous and elegant fall line. Autumn Glory is just that, Autumn in all it's glory. The colors are just amazing and the graphics are beautiful. My favorite part is all the falling leaves. This will be so fun to use on so many of my fall related photos.

Ok, so if you know me at all you know I do a bit of Volleyball. It's kind of a passion of mine. I also have a high school aged daughter that plays and I have to say, being a crafter and a volleyball "Mom" is kind of fun. I really enjoy making team treats and locker decor, so this line is going to be amazingly fun to work with this season!

Next up we have this super cute and spunky pet holidays line, Happy Pawlidays! It really speaks for itself, literally, read all of the funny quotes that are in this line! You will be cracking up just like me!!

I will be honest with you here. I don't really know much about Racing. I know in Nascar that they take a LOT of left turns but that's about it. But I am loving this line with all of the fun bright colors and the need for speed! I can't imagine a racer that wouldn't like a line like this and I know this will look fantastic with my speed demon son's photos. I've already got lots of ideas for this awesome line!

Save the best for last you say? Oh YES!!! This is definitely my fav from this release, which is saying a lot because I really LOVE this entire release. But I know I'm going to have SO much fun with this slightly gruesome but so on trend line, Zombie Attack! Zombies are really it right now and I'm totally into them. It's been about 3 days since I last watched World War Z. lol I LOVE this line!!

So there you have it! 7 totally awesome and off the hook rockin' NEW releases from Moxxie. So I have one thing to say to you....
