Holly Jolly Christmas Eve & Perfect

I've got 2 layouts for you today. First off we'll start with today's NAS #197 sketch:
Lots of photos can fit on here. I didn't have quite that many so I made a larger title area and I had a few that I made a little skinnier and one that I needed to be a little wider, so I switched the journaling area to the top so my wider photo could go along side my skinnier photos. It made it so the photos weren't squished in there somewhere. :)

Here's my layout:
This is Christmas Eve with my brother, his family and my parents. I realize the journaling is a little hard to see, but it's mostly just listing what the kids got from each other. Love some good times with my family!

I used the Holly Jolly Echo Park line again. (really loving these papers) I had a blast playing with the cardstock stickers to create my title area, I layered journaling cards to make the journaling space long enough and used a few fun border punches. I did some inking with black and added a little bit more detail to some of the stickers with my Stamping Up markers. Pretty quick and easy layout.

Next I have January's Scrap Our Stash challenge. This month the challenge is "New". I chose to go with newly printed photos, some new supplies my awesome daughter got me for xmas and to use some punches in a new way.

So the cute white cs, green pp, green with white polka dot ribbon and stickers in the bottom right corner were all picked out by my dd. Everything else is much older stuff from my stash.
The photos are from this year's tree assembly production and I used a border punch to make the red 'ribbon' look for the bottom strip. Then took the little curls that were punched out and added them around the circle. I also used a glaze pen I've had for quite some time, but haven't done much with. Looks really great in person, but hard to see here. :) Lots of sparkly fun tho!

Products: Best Creations paper, Kaisercraft ink, Stampin' Up markers, Fiskars and Martha Stewart punches, Sakura glaze pen, Karen Foster and Me and My Big Ideas stickers, Elmer's glue spots and Tombow tape runner.

Thanks for leaving such a lovely comment for me over at the Helmar Blog!

Look at what you did with those curls! (talk about using every bit of something!) The wreath is so cute around the punched border, I really love everything bout it! Wonderful!

Your double pager rocks! Lots of photos without looking cluttered. And I really love that second layout. The pink, mint green and red color combo is stunning.
