Jayseasaurus w/ DCWV

An Original Scrapbook USA post-

Isn't this the cutest little boy paper?! I saw these papers from the Die Cuts With A View Kidosaurus paper stack and I just LOVED them. So many cute ideas for pages and projects popped to mind. I wanted to play so I picked a picture of my little cutie and went to work.

I started with the volcano paper as background and added the leaf/footprint paper to it, but wanted something a little darker and messier so I misted it with some brown spray. Then I got to cutting up the journaling, titles and die-cut blocks from another sheet.

I fussy cut the footprints out to use individually and then traced and hand colored a few to go along with them.
I added my son's name to the front of the title block with .....asaurus on it. I thought that was really cute and clever! I had done a lot of inking, distressing, added this wander embellie, doodled my border and thought I was done, but I just wasn't feeling it. So I walked away for a bit and then came back. That's when it hit me!
These glam rocks from Imaginisce. I just picked them up from the Original Scrapbook USA Expo and they were the perfect finishing touch. I added some black ones around the elements at the bottom of the layout and then the red ones in the smoke billowing out of the volcano under my layers. I love the way it turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! :)Ange
