Style...

  Kristin sent me a big envelope of Basic Grey scraps and I had fun with them! First I used these really pretty striped and floral pieces for my daughter's handmade Valentine:


 which got me in the mood for a little more weaving. So I created this layout:

 My little guy has a funny sense of style. I think the dvd case for a hat is my favorite (he has broken many cases, so I better enjoy something about this right?) I started with my photo, picked a background paper and then a couple scraps that I could cut up for weaving. I ended up using 10- 1 inch strips, then I loosely weaved them for a messy or crazy look. I added a lot of details including wet embossing, dry embossing, ink, gems and distressed photo edges. Here's a couple close-ups and a supply list below. Your valentines are so pretty.
I love the layout of your son...he is adorable. I didn't realize that was a DVD case as his hat...so adorable.
