Be Brave layout

 Hey there!
It's time for another Scrap Our Stash challenge!
The challenge, should you choose to except it, is:

I chose the left side of the sketch and put together this layout:

So proud of this kid for braving this scary ride on his own when no one else had the stomach to go with him. He had a blast and went back for more.

I used the rainbow embellishment to represent the circle behind the photo in the sketch and added my journaling as a border around my page. My wood elements are the sun paperclip and the word 'love'.

Make sure you upload your take on this challenge over on the Scrap Our Stash blog.

4th of July layout

Hey all!
I'm here today to share our July challenge from Scrap Our Stash!

So the challenge is to use the sketch and create a layout inspired by the cartoon, also including an arrow on your layout.
Here's my layout:

I stuck pretty close to the sketch and went with some 4th of July photos of my boy being "wow"ed by the fireworks to go with the theme. I added 3 arrows to highlight the look on his face in the photo and then added a bit of journaling next to the arrows.

Here's a couple closeups:

Can't wait to see your take on this challenge.

Hello layout

Today I'm sharing this layout of my sweet little boy meeting a little bunny. We went to a local farm to see the spring animals and I managed to capture this sweet photo.
I think my boy was little surprised by the curious bunny, but it was a fun experience.

I based this layout on a sketch from Rochelle and this fun picture challenge from Stacy.

Sweet, so cute, love layout

 Hey there!

I'm back with an awesome layout I made using the sketch from Rochelle's blog and the challenge from Stacy's blog. As you can see I've turned the sketch on it's side to fit the orientation of my photo.
From the photo challenge I've stuck with the theme of circles, used the reds from the photo and I also noticed the word Love in the photo and decided to go with a general love themed layout. Using a Valentine kit I had worked perfectly for the theme even tho it's not really Valentine related.

On this particular day my little guy wanted to do my hair. He brought out a container that I kept barrettes in for the girls and started snapping them into my ponytail. I'm pretty sure he got everyone he had in there. lol
