 It's sketchy Friday!

Today I'm working with this fun sketch from My Scraps & More:

And here's my take on it:

This sketch is super fun and easy to use!

I started with a pattern for my base page and added misted designs here and there.

 

Then I used some cool washi tape from Love My Tapes to layout out the grid design.

 

Then you just have fun embellishing.

Happy Birthday card w/ LMT

 Here's a fun and quick birthday card.

I started with a white base and added a layer and a half of Red & Blue triangles tape from Love My Tapes to the top by layering it over itself. It makes me think of a fun banner.

I followed that up with a cute Happy Birthday tape.

Then I layered the Blue Stars tape, traced a large star onto it and used an exacto knife to gently cut through the tape. Peel the extra tape up and you have your star.

 

To finish it off I used Moxxie's red alpha for the 12 and cut some stars from the blue tape and a similar yellow tape to add as embellishment, along with a bit of doodling and inking.

Graduation cards w/ Kreaxions & Moxxie

 Are you in need of graduation cards this spring?

I am and these Kreaxions punches are making it super simple to spruce up an older Graduation line I have from Moxxie.

I started with punch #909 but punched the design too far apart so I started over and lined up the designs closer to do this card.

It gives it a really fancy and pretty border, but was really simple to make.

Then I went back to the first paper I had punched and looked at it again. I cut off the portion between the flower and corner cut, punched the top with #912, lining up the design to slightly over lap and I had another beautiful card.

No scraps were wasted in the making of these cards. ;)

Grad cards w/ Moxxie & LMT

 Hello there! Today I have some fun Graduation cards.

It tis the season after all!

I started with an older Graduation Day line from Moxxie, that I still have in my stash. What better way to spruce up an old line than to add NEW tapes right?!

I layered the Yellow and Blue Stars tapes on this card. 

They perfectly match our school colors!

For this card I picked 3 patterns from the yellows to match our school colors, then layered them on the base of my card before adding the embellishments.

Using the polka-dot, stripe and star tapes, I layered a strip and then cut each end into a banner for a little subtle detail.

I'm off to make some more graduation cards and using Love My Tapes makes it so easy!!

It's Your Day card w/ LMT & Moxxie

 Hi! Happy Wednesday to you.
I have a fun card here that you could use for almost any occasion.
This one is geared toward mother's but replace that flower and you've got a great all occasion card.

I started with a white base and pulled out these lovely colors of polka dot tapes from Love My Tapes.

I used the blue polka dot first and made some layers along the  bottom of my card. I then double layered some pretty patterns from the Springtime line from Moxxie and then used an older stamp for my sentiment.

Then I used a strip of the purple and lime along with another strip of the blue to make some banners in the top right corner. Then you have a wonderful, bright and fun base to build the rest of your card on! Last I added this fun stamp that I fussy cut after stamping on some pretty Springtime paper and a bit of stickles to make my card pop.
