Magical Memories w/ MS&M

Today I'm sharing with you this lovely sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches:

I used the fun Magical Moments line from Moxxie:

And created this layout:

These are some old pictures from a trip to Disney World back in the day.
Unfortunately my photos skills weren't what I would have liked but these photos still represent beautiful moments that I will always cherish. I've found that cutting these photos down can actually help you focus on what you were really trying to capture and this sketch was perfect for that.

I did a lot of layering of the fun cut outs and stickers. Including using the black circles that come on the sticker sheet to create my own mickey head!

I love using the stickers but don't always want to use the entire thing, so I just cut out the portion I do want, like I did here with the flower.

Softball Treats w/ Love my Tapes.

 Hello!
I have a fun Team Treat project to share with you today.

My daughter's softball season is in full swing and I like to help encourage them with little treats here and there. They were headed to take on a particularly tough team recently and I thought I would encourage them with this fun treat.

I cut the bats with my silhouette, added a bit of inking and the quote. Then taped the handle, just like a real bat, with Blue Stars washi tape from Love My Tapes!

I used the Tape Runner I received from the store because I'm always having trouble with the decorations popping off the treats with my normal glue.

I can't believe how well it worked!
My daughter took these on a 2 hour bus ride and when she gave me the extras the next day, the bat and ball were still stuck solidly to the bag!!
I can honestly say my last glue did not do that.

Here's a close up of the project for you:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Mother's day card w/ Kreaxions

Hello, I have a beautiful Mother's day card to share with you.

I started with the gorgeous Springtime line from Moxxie.

Using the Dandelion Wishes paper as my base I punched a flower from the bottom corner of my card using Punch #309 from Kreaxions and then decided to use the bottom portion of the punch create a layered pink flower, adding a gem to the center to finish the look.

Then I added the butterfly punch outs from Punch #901 for embellishment.

For the inside portion of the card I used the same two punches to add decoration to the sentiment and then reassembled the purple flower in the corner.

Baseball lo w/ Moxxie

Today I'm working with the new All Star Baseball line from Moxxie.

In my family we do a lot of softball and baseball so I was ecstatic to get this line and jumped right into creating this layout:

I started with Play Ball as my base adding inked barcode strips from Play Ball and All Star Cutouts and the bat and ball strip from the cutouts paper also. Then I added mist to the page and started arranging my photos on the page.

I had a lot of fun using the cutouts sheet for my photo mats. The ball stitching along my main photo was cut off a journaling card.

A title is really easy to put together with the awesome sticker sheet!

Some of my favorite stickers on the sheet are the chevrons. They are great for pointing out things you might miss just glancing at the photo. Like the ball in my main photo or the ball in my son's catcher mitt in this photo.
The red alphas are perfect for this line. I love the way you can put them down and then move them a little if you need (like when you forget a t ;) )

Thanks for stopping by!

New Release Spring Hop! & MS&M sketch

Hello and happy Friday!
It's an awesome day to be at my blog. I'm part of the Moxxie New Release Spring Hop and I'm sharing an awesome sketch from My Scraps & More Sketches.
I'm working with Moxxie's New Fast Pitch line!! Check it out:

I love everything about this line! It's going to be awesome for recording all the memories I have of my girls playing ball and I'm sure I'll use it for a team treat or two.

Here's what I've created to share with you today:

I used this sketch from My Scraps & More:

I started with a kraft base and inked it up. Then layered some Play with Heart along the bottom and topped it with the bar code strip from cutouts.

As you can see I stuck really close to the sketch using the stickers and quotes from the line to spruce up my layout.

I used some fun washi tape and the red Moxxie alphas for my title.
