I am IN LOVE! with this new Moxxie line and this page. This is Reach for the Stars. It is so cute and versatile. I am super excited to dive into it again!
I used today's Nuts About Sketches sketch #249. Fabulous!
I used this "I love you" die-cut as the title and inspiration for my layout. My little guy is so funny and challenging all at the same time. Love his crazy little antics.
This layout is pretty straight forward, but I did add some charcoal ink to all my edges, a little extra around the outside and then did a little doodling too.
Supplies:
Moxxie - papers, die-cuts, stickers, buttons
awesome albums - twine
imaginisce - gems
colorbox - ink
stampin up - markers
zig - black pen
ek tools - foam adhesive
tombow - tape runner
glue dots - mini
stash - tape, staples

NAS reveal!
I've got two NAS layouts for you today. Don't forget that NAS is having a sketch team call right now! Find all the details here.
We'll start with this week's sketch #248 (find it here)
I used the left side of the sketch. I found this old photo booth strip of photos from a date my husband & I took with our youngest daughter in 2006 and thought it would be fun to use with this sketch. So I decided to make the space for the 5x7 photo, journaling and title all one big area for journaling and title. Sketches are a starting point, don't feel like you can't change them up to fit your needs. :)
I also used this AWEsome line from Moxxie called XOXO, you can find the entire line here. My 14 year old daughter came along and claimed "all leftovers" for her Valentine's cards this year. lol All papers, stickers and rub-ons are Moxxie, from my stash I added the bling and alphas. I hand drew my journaling lines with a pencil and then went over them with marker. The bling heart was originally a straight strip. I made my own heart template from the backing of the heart with arrow sticker by cutting the backing a little smaller to fit the size of my photo that I wanted
to highlight. Then I put the backing over the photo and followed along the outside of it with the bling strip, snipping the glue backing about every 2 rhinestones so it would curve where I needed.
I also have last week's NAS layout from sketch #247. This is a super fun and easy sketch to work with, you will love it if you give it a try.
This layout is about the brilliance of the gift we chose for our then 2yr old son. In hind sight, punching gloves probably weren't the best choice. Live and learn right?
Here I used the totally cute Sugarplums kit from My Scraps & More. She still has some left! Find it here.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'd love for you to become a follower and/or leave me a comment if you like what you see. :)Ange

Hey! Today I get to bring you this month's totally awesome Scrapbook USA Expo sketch challenge. Check it out!
This is the perfect sketch to help you get all those awesome holiday photos you just took scrapped! Shawn, of Nuts About Sketches, was kind enough to share this sketch with us for this challenge. Thanks Shawn! Her sketches are so easy to follow and create from. I just love using them and she has tons more on her blog Nuts About Sketches. Don't forget to go check them out!
There is no wrong way to use this sketch. So grab some paper and go! Here is my example:
I used the DCWV Crafty Christmas stack to put together this festive layout of my kids opening presents Christmas morning. I didn't have a 5x7 photo that I wanted to use on this page so I improvised by using two 4x6 photos that I actually cropped a little, since the one on the left was a horizontal picture, to fit into the 5x7 space provided. I didn't feel the need to add a lot of journaling to this layout, so I left the journaling spot blank, but you could always add some embellishment there or whatever makes you happy. That's what it's all about right?
So have fun and don't forget to go to THIS POST on SB USA Expo blog and upload the link to your layout. I would love to come see it and leave comment. :)Ange
Supplies:
DCWV - pp, cs
Nuts About Sketches - sketch
american crafts - thickers, cb snowflakes
ranger - stickles
sei - ink
downtowntape - red tape w/ star burst
stash - tapes, stickers
