Best Wishes card

Hey there Speedy Scrappers!
I have a pretty card for you today that I made mostly with scraps.
Remember these previous projects?

Find the post for this here.
The post for this card here.

Using scraps from both of these projects I came up with this:

The card base is the leftover piece from the inside of the layout frame. I trimmed it to 8x8 before folding it for this card, then punched the corners and inked the edges. The border that the wording is sitting on is actually the barcode piece from the top of this paper. This particular line has a hole in the middle of it for the stores to hang the pad from, but I just used half of the strip so that didn't matter. I border punched it and inked it too.

Then I cut a circle out of a piece of this pretty pattern leftover from the cards I made. Then I just tore the circle around in a spiral, layered them back in on themselves and smooshed them flat. The layers slid a bit to one side so I just fussed with it until I liked the look then put a few glue dots under it here and there to hold everything in place.
Finish up with some buttons and banners and you've got yourself a nice gift card.
Find these fun bright papers from Studio Calico in the Speedy Scrappers store.

Come share your projects with us on the facebook page!
Thanks,
Ange
