My friend was nice enough to share this team photo of her husband's hockey team with me. (She is on the team this year but didn't have a team photo with her in it :( I had SO much fun adding red dylusions spray to this! I can't believe how much it looks like blood. (sorry if it grosses anyone out, but we are talking hockey here lol).
I am super excited with the way this turned out and can't wait to see my friend's reaction!
I have more detailed photos and a supply list below. But just in case you've not finished the hop, here is the list for you again. Good luck! I know you will LOVE this line!!!
Ready to hop?!! Here is your hop sequence... on your mark, get set --- GO!

I started off with my background paper, picked a lighter one to mat the photo with, but scrunched and smashed it and then spritzed it with passport spray to give it a more roughed up look. I did a lot with the title letters (described below), then hung them on some twine tied to some loop brads. I LOVE the hockey player in the bottom left corner but wanted him to come at you a bit more so I added a little glossy accents to his outline. Then I layered some die-cuts and stickers, added a little washi tape, faux stitching under the 2012 and finished it off with a tag that slides under the photo for my friend to add her own journaling. Then went around the whole layout with some black ink.
When I started this I wasn't sure the dylusions would take to the glossy finish of the letters the way I wanted, but why not try, right? So I sprayed them, watched it puddle in spots, but decided to let it dry to see what effect I got. That is the top left photo. I wanted something darker to match the team uniform better, so I sanded the letters a little with an emery board; top left. Then I laid them flat on my blue ink pad and rubbed them around for the final look, which made me happy. My fingers are a little blue, but I really like the look I got. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!
