All Star with Moxxie

I've got a quick layout for you today. I used Moxxie's totally awesome, I mean TOTALLY AWESOME Basketball line for this layout. I'm not a big basketball fan but I fell in LOVE with this line. Check it out:

Don't you just love all that awesome grunge? I do. I wanted to use the cool Hoops paper but was really liking the basketball player silhouette making a layup too, because he would look so fun on page with these photos of my youngest testing out his new hoop Christmas morning. So I decided to combine them on one layout. I tore around the player leaving the white edge and then did the same with the orange paper so that I could mat my player and make him pop a little more against the similarly colored backgrounds.

I cropped and distressed the edges of my photos, cut up some scraps of pp and distressed the edges then layered them behind the photos for a kind of mat.

I took the All Star banner matted it using 3d foam adhesive and added it for a title.

Then I layered the star/banner die cut along the bottom of the photo, added the layered "nuthin' but" die cut (which I added a bball sticker to) and used a paint marker to create a white space for my date stamp.

Here's a closer view of the silhouette. After I usually look at my layout from arms length for a second and this time I decided to add a couple more stickers.
 Thanks for stopping by today!
