Hangin' Out

And eating a little ice cream is a great way to spend a warm summer day! I'm looking forward to some warmer days here soon, I hope. Today Shawn posted a 2 page sketch for your scrappy pleasure (Here) and this is what I came up with using it.

My oldest son celebrating his birthday with a couple of friends and his sister. Nothing better than towel hammocks and a big bowl of ice cream right?
I used mostly Imaginisce products here, did a little inking, taping and pop-dotting.

supplies:
Imaginisce - pp, die-cuts, 3D die-cut
american crafts - alphas
sei - ink
stampin up - markers
ek tools - foam tape
tombow - tape runner
stash - cs, tape

  2. Love this one too Ange! Can I give one teensy suggstion tho?? I'm certainly no one to critique since I haven't done a page in years...BUT bc you know how I am, I'm going to anyway!! ;) I think darker ink for the writing might be easier to read and stand out more. I love the towel hammocks idea, may have to try to do that sometime, but without a trampoline or playset, not sure what we would tie it too! Luv ya Cuz!!

  3. Hey, btw, I am having a lot of problems connecting to your blogsite today... I don't know if it is on my end or yours, it's telling me it's a connection problem, but that my internet connection is good?? But I dunno if I trust that, I have a wacky connection at times. Just thought I'd let you know so you can check into it. :)
