Scary & precious

If you're looking for the My Huntin' Boots layout scroll down or click here.

My first project as a new member of the Scrapbook Expo dt! I am super excited!!! I received the super fun DCWV Bewitched matstack and some matching embellies and this is what I put together for you.

This is my youngest 2yrs ago. He was Tigger and did the cutest little roar face, but it took me all night to get a photo and it ended up a little blurry, so I used it anyway and then added a smaller one of him in full costume. :)

I cut up some of the papers to make the banners up top and the strips laying across the middle. I also used some papers to mat the photos, fussy cut the little pumpkin swirls to go over my main photo and fussy cut the border along the bottom from 2 papers with the same pattern. I inked all my edges in black, stapled the banners up top and layered all the rest. Then I used a scrap to journal on and added a pull tab, with button and twine, to it so I could hide it behind the smaller photo. Stick your embellies on and you're done!

Supplies:
pp, sticker embellies - DCWV
kraft paper - paper studio
ink - colorbox
staples - CTMH
pen - zig
glue - Tombow
pop dots - eksuccess
button, spider, twine - stash

Shocking!

If you're looking for the My Huntin' Boots layout scroll down or click here.

Another fun Moxxie layout for you today! I really, really love this All Hallow's Eve line. I had to buy myself more. lol You know it's good when you need more!!

I added one of the sticker frames to my slightly blurry photo (adds to the overall affect don't you think?), fussy cut the creepy hand from the sticker, cut the moon out of another pattern, tore my creepy little spiders out to let them run across the table, fussy cut the spider and punched the skull w/crossbones out. I added ink to a lot, because I love the look, but I added a lot of lime green ink to the moon area to add a glowing, eerie effect. I love how it turned out! I also used some glossy accents on the skeleton's hat, spider, candelabra and witch's cape. I stapled the banners along the side, added some glitter stars and the webbing washi tape. This page was super fun!
Hope you have a perfectly spooky Halloween! :)Ange

Our BIG Pumpkin

I have a 2 page layout for you today. I used the Nuts About sketches #236 and combined it with a challenge from a crop at My Scraps & More. Don't forget to check out the rest of the dt's layouts at the Nuts site.

I really dug into my stash for this one. Lots of Heidi Grace products and other things I found hanging around. Feels great to put them on paper. Thanks for stopping by! Ange

EEK!!! Spooky coffins!

Eek!!
Hi, I'm here today to show you some fun coffins I made using the All Hallow's Eve Moxxie line. This post is up on the Moxxie blog today too! This is by far one of my all time fav Halloween lines! It's so fun and spooky with a hint of darkness. Everything Halloween is meant to be.

Don't you just LOVE it? My kids are going to be so excited when they come home and see this spooky display atop the wood stove. Plus I had so much fun creating it. I still have a little paint and glue under my finger nails. That's the sign of a fun project, right?

So let's get down to business.
1- coffins (found at Michaels for a dollar a piece), brush and black paint.
2- Moxxie's All Hallow's Eve papers, mod podge or your fav glue, plastic card of some sort to smooth out the bubbles and your fav Halloween treat. (snickers for me and m&m's for my partner in crime; they did not keep him busy for long)
3- After I got the papers on, I sanded and inked the edges to give them an older feel.
4- Moxxie's All Hallow's Eve die cuts and stickers! They made it so easy. Then I added in some AC thicker products, M's spiders and dollar store skeletons.
Here's some close ups of each coffin:

These were so fun and a lot easier than I expected. If you have any questions, please leave a comment in the comment section and I will answer as soon as I can.  Thanks for spookin' it up with me today! Have a Happy Halloween!! :)Ange

My Huntin' Boots

This is my new favorite layout! my son was SO excited about his new shoes, it was cracking me up. What better to scrap about than a moment that is fleeting, simple and puts a big smile on your face?

So I used some fun Moxxie Happy Camper and Fish Stories lines and today's NAS sketch & the Hot Chocolate challenge from SOS to create a page that brings a smile to my face. The sketch is fun and simple to use. I used mostly the B sides of the paper but had fun including some of the pine trees on one of the Happy Camper papers. I cut an off center circle from a green paper and added my own doodled design. Mixed alphas is in right now and I have no shortage so I found 3 different fonts to use and doodled up the BOOTS part too. Then I fussy cut the cute little owl out and added it too. I really love the border the washi tape gave the layout. It adds a lot but was SO easy.

Thanks so much for coming by! I'd love to hear from you in the comments. :)Ange

Good Timz

There's a fab 2 page sketch on the Nuts site for you this week. This is half of it. lol Love me some one pages. :)
This a photo of my oldest with a couple of her friends at the awards banquet held at the end of jr high.

I used the Oct Scraptastic kit and this layout (with some sketch help) came together super quick. I did a bit of fussy cutting on the chevron patterned paper and the 3 flowers are fussy cut from another paper in the kit, then I added my circle, rigged some old alphas for my title, added the twine, stickers and of course I inked. Oh I also outlined JR HIGH w/ marker to make the white letters pop more.

Thanks for stopping by! :)Ange

The collection is just perfect for all your Halloween projects!  The Moxxie Muses have some wonderful inspiration for you today!

How can you not love this line, right? Definitely one of my favs at the moment and here is what I created for you:

This was so fun to make! I found this photo of my daughter's first "dark" costume and just started tearing, crushing, distressing with scissors and layering. I also discovered that my lime ink made a glowing look on the edges of the dark paper so I used that here and there. This line is so easy to use. I added some stickers and lots of die-cuts. Then because the background was too clean and pretty looking I added some shimmer spritz and ink.
  Here's a couple close-ups:
 Lots of layers
 Lots of distressing
Really loved the look of the shimmer spritz

Do you want to win this entire collection?

Here is what you need to do!  It is very simple and very easy!

Volleyball tags

Just a quick little project here.

I made these tags to go on the lockers of my daughter's volleyball team for homecoming week. I started with a little saying that I could use to add some candy to and then printed them off, cut them out and got out my Moxxie Volleyball line!
I cut the yellow strips with the volleyballs and used the scallop punch on them, then added the blue strip, inking all my pp edges. I made 2 versions, so some of my blue strips had stars punched out of them and some didn't. I cut the volleyballs out with my cricut, used blue for the shadow cut and did all the girls' #'s in yellow. (school colors) Punch some holes for the sucker stick and use some double sided tape for the tootsie and you're all done.

Cute and quick and the volleyballs just slid onto the corner of the tag. That way the girls could use them for bookmarks or something.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Make sure you come back Friday because we have a fun Moxxie blog hop that you won't want to miss! It's all about October!!!  :)Ange
