Silent layout

I'm sharing the last Scrap Our Stash challenge of the year with you today!

 This was a fun one!
Here's my layout:

I'm sure most parents look for these quiet moments where their kids are just enjoying each others company and not causing mischief. It's a little bit harder for me to find these moments with these 2 because their age difference and lack of patience with each other makes it difficult for them. So I'm definitely sneaking photos when I can.

Here are some closeups:

As you can see, I've turned the sketch and added a few fun sparkly embellishments to meet the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday!

Peace Love & Mask layout

Happy December!
I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and are well on your way to a relaxing holiday season.

Today I'm sharing a layout I made based on this challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

Here's my layout:

This was the first photo my family took wearing the masks my husband sewed for us.
With all of the political nonsense surrounding the virus in my area I decided it would be most fitting to use the Peace, Love and Mask title on my layout. We could definitely use more of all 3.

Here's some closeups:

I'm pretty happy with the way my layout turned out.
I hope you find some time to take care of yourself this month and really enjoy the holiday.

Believe in Yourself layout

Wow, can't believe we're halfway through the month already!
I think we might be full speed ahead to the end of the month.
But for today I'm going back a few years to share this sweet layout of my daughter using the Scrap Our Stash challenge.

Here's the challenge:

Here's my layout:

I found this pretty paper to fill the water color paper part of the challenge and then added a few pieces of chipboard; the October and hearts. I really love the way this layout turned out and that I could write a little note to my daughter with it.

Here's a couple closeups:

Home layout

Wow, I can't believe we're in November already.
Really hoping to see some things change going forward and I'm excited for what the future holds.
Today I'm sharing a layout about people I'm thankful for, my family.
Here's the challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

Here is my layout:

I love this big bunch of crazies and I love that they're mine. They are so much fun to spend time with. We always end up with so many fun and silly family photos, with so much personality in every one.
Here are some closeups so you can see how I incorporated the elements of the challenge:

lil Pumpkin layout

 Halloween is my favorite holiday!
Such a great time of year with spooky fun and lots of treats and who doesn't like putting on a good mask right?

Today I'm sharing a layout based on this challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

Here's my layout:

This is my cute little guy playing around in his costume and in this large plastic pumpkin we bought. I'm not sure if he enjoys the holiday as much as I do but we sure were having a lot of fun.

I used different alpha stickers to create my title on the right side of the layout and some fun spooky papers. I set it all of with a lot of fun Halloween embellishments.

Here are a few closeups:

I hope you have a fun and spooky Halloween this year.

And we love jumping layout

 Hello October!
I'm not really a big fall weather fan but I have to admit I LOVE fall for Halloween.
Hands down best holiday ever!!
So while I'm a bit bummed about the changing of the leaves and the more than crispness in the air, I do very much look forward to the 31st.

Today I bring you a fun fall layout to go along with our first challenge of the month from Scrap Our Stash.
Here is the challenge:

And here is my layout:

The mood board inspired me to go with these fun photos of my kids jumping on the trampoline with all the brightly colored leaves on the trees in the background.

From there I picked out an older kit that had some similar colors to the pallet in the mood board and I loved that it had all the wooden elements and fun leaves to go along with it.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to share your take on this challenge on the Scrap Our Stash blog for a chance to win a fun prize!

Hoco layout

Hello, hello!
I've got a fun layout to share with you today.

I based this layout on the challenge from Scrap Our Stash.

I stuck with the basic layout of the sketch, used wood grain paper under my photo on the left and and owl sticker for the embellie.

Adding some hand doodling around the layout really helped finalize my layout.

Thanks for swinging by!

Genius layout

Hello!
Happy September. Wow, that came fast.
It's back to school time and regardless of how that looks this year for everyone we still have school photos to scrap, cuz that's who we are, right? lol

Today I'm sharing a layout I made to go along with Scrap Our Stash challenge for this month.

Here's my layout:

My 1 word title is Genius,
I have 2 photos
and 3 stars.

Here are a few closeups:

I used some liquid pearls on this as well to spruce it up a bit and the fun little label stickers.

I had a ephemera card that had something on the front I was unlikely to use so I flipped it over and use some more of the label stickers on it and then made it my journaling card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy days layout

 Halfway through August already!
I hope you are all well and enjoying the last bits of your summer.
Today I'm sharing a challenge from Scrap Our Stash:

Here's my take on the sketch:

I used ink on my background and around the edges of my patterned paper. You can see the striped patterned paper used in the circles on each side of the photos.

These closeups give a better look at the inking and my embellishment clusters.

This line is Pink Paislee's Indigo & Ivy. It's actually quite a feminine line with flecks of gold and lots of florals. I think I did a pretty good job making it into a sports page.

Summer state layout

 Hello there!

It's hard to believe how fast the slowest year of life is cruising by. lol
But I've got a fun challenge from Scrap Our Stash to share with you.

Here's my layout:

This was a fun one. We floated a local river for the first time with this fun group of friends and this water print paper was perfect for a little fussy cutting. Then I tore the yellow polka dot in a bit of a corner sun type shape but added some fun sun stickers also.

I finished up with a bit of hand doodling around the edges because it just needed something more.

Epic layout

 Hello!
I hope you're finding some time to enjoy your June so far.
I'm using mine to get out and enjoy the warm weather a bit and I'm spending the rainy, surprise cold days we get inside scrapping!

Today I'm sharing a challenge from Scrap Our Stash with you:

Here's my layout based on the sketch:

I used kraft paper for my background and used a metal embellishment (an old necklace charm) in the middle with my OMG die-cut.
Here's a few closeups:

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy the rest of your June,
:)Angela
