The Plane w/ Kaisercraft

 Hello!
I hope you've had a great week so far.
Today I have a bit of travel fun for you, using the Now Boarding line from Kaisercraft:

I used the right side of this sketch from Nuts About Sketches:

I love sketches! They are just a great way to really jump start your creativity. You can stick really close to it or change up anything to fit your needs.

Since the sketch allowed for journaling and title on the left side I had to find a place for them in my layout. I only had 2 vertically oriented photos so it worked great for me to add my journaling there. I was going to place my title there also but decided to go with a spot along the top instead.

It fit great along the tops of my photos next to the cute little stickers I added for embellishment.

The sketch called for a decorative strip and some banners in the middle, which was the part I really loved. I thought these fun banner stickers would be perfect to hang off my strip, which is the backside of the barcode strip of Terminal, my base paper.
Do you have some vacation pictures to scrap? You can find this line at the Speedy Scrappers store then come show us your creations on the facebook page.

Happy Scrapping!

Take my hand w/ Fancy Pants

If you haven't entered into the Moxxie blog hop giveaway you still can! Find it here.

I had so much fun creating this layout!

I made it for the Member of the Month challenge at Memorable Seasons. Every month they pick one member to highlight and then everyone is challenge to scrap lift them. Krystle was July's MOTM and she has a lot of layouts in her gallery with banner strips, florals and bling. So that's what I concentrated on.

This photo of my son walking hand in hand with my husband on a hike we took inspired my title. I used the triangles leftover from cutting the banners to bring attention to my title also.

There's always 3 strips of ribbon in the kits I receive, but I'm normally not too good at using ribbon. So I was excited to get all three pieces on this layout. A bow by, my title, a bit of burlap in the banner strips and then I made my own ribbon flower for the lower corner of the photo and then added some fun bling.

I finished up by drawing around the layout with a dark green marker and then added one line of white pen. I really love how this layout turned out.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a great week! :)Ange

Two cards w/ Kaisercrafts

If you're looking for the Moxxie hop (and you definitely want to, great giveaway!) you can find it HERE.

 Hello!
It's back to school Monday here. I can't believe how fast the summer went! I am glad to get back into a bit of a routine again tho.
Today I have a couple cards for you:

I used Kaisercrafts Telegraph Road from Speedy Scrappers for both of these, they are 4.25x5.5. For this first one I inked the base with a bright pink, then used a loopy border/corner punch on a scrap of Letter pattern paper, layered a couple die-cuts, stickers and this easy sticker sentiment.

I wanted a different look for this one so I used weathered wood ink, it has a bit of a blue cast to it that I liked. Then I put the border sticker across the top, just trim it down to the size you need. After that I found a scrap of the pink Message paper and punched the corners. I didn't like it straight on the card, so I cut a piece of Memo to back it with and rounded the corners. Then I layered the stickers, die-cuts and sentiments but finished up with some bling across the top.

Have a great week everyone!

Today I get to share with you this wonderful Volleyball line:

The colors in this line are just amazing! They go awesome with any school colors or just a day of fun on the court. The quotes and sayings are my favorite part tho. I love getting a little sassy in name of fun!

This is a photo of my daughter's team from last season. I'm really looking forward to this next season. Love watching my girl play!

I started with Volleyball Rules as my base, then fussy cut some of the yellow chevrons out of Volleyball Cutouts to add to the bottom of my photo. I used the triangle bits I had left over as arrows to point you to my title. I used the NEW and TOTALLY AWESOME White Alphas and outlined them with a thin black pen.

The strip of volleyballs and words are the barcode strips from the 2 pattern papers that I used. Then I got to grab the fantastic stickers to spruce up my page. End with a bit of ink, pen stitching and bling and walla awesome Volleyball page!
Don't forget to hop back to the Moxxie blog and comment to win your favorite line!
Thanks for hopping!!

Happy w/ Fancy Pants

Here's another layout I made using the Burlap and Bouquets line from Fancy Pants:

This was for an inking challenge at Memorable Seasons. The challenge was to Ink it All! I inked the edges of almost everything. I just like the bold look the ink gives your elements.

I even outlined a few things in pen to make them pop even more.

I also used this sketch from Nuts About Sketches for the main design:

Moment w/ Kaisercraft

 Hello!
I hope you're enjoying some beautiful summer days in your area. We've had some heavy down pours here lately but I'm really enjoying it because we tend to be quite hot and dry this time of year normally.
Today I have a beautiful photo I took of my daughter a couple years ago on a hike we took:

I used the lovely Telegraph Road line from Kaisercraft. I started with the Notes paper as my base. It's so lovely that you almost want to just stick your photo down and be done with the page. I think you definitely could, but I added some paper strips from Memo and Message.

Then I got busy layering a barcode strip along with some ribbons. I also used a corner punch on the Message paper and a couple of the washi looking stickers from the sticker sheet.

I backed my photo with Letter after using the corner punch and a border punch on it. Then wrapped it with some twine and hid some flowers and journaling behind it. For my journaling card I used one of the ledger die-cuts, cut this tag from the sticker sheet apart to add to it with the tab at the top and then added the moment sticker.
I finished up by adding some little flowers from my stash in the lower corner of the photo, layered the Better Laughing die-cut and little heart sticker. As usual, I inked all of my edges. I used black this time because I knew it would really make everything pop.

You can find this line in the Speedy Scrappers store. We would love to have you share your projects with us on the facebook page!
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Flowers for Sister w/ Fancy Pants

 Happy Friday everyone!
Have any big plans for the weekend? We are doing a bit of birthday celebrating here.

Today I have a layout using Fancy Pants Burlap and Bouquets:

I created this layout for Memorable Seasons as a challenge to use imperfect photos on your layout. We've all got a couple that just didn't turn out the way we wanted, but still represent a moment that we want recorded. Go ahead and use it!

In this photo a neighboring flash over-exposed my son as he handed the flowers to my daughter. He was too young to understand "redoing it" for the photo, so I just photoshopped as best I could and made use of it anyway.
I've done this before with blurry photos that gave me the idea to make a layout about what a busy body my son was. Perfect theme for a small child/toddler page and blurry photos help prove your point!

I did a bit of stamping on this page, but I did it through the burlap to get this fun look. Then I hid the darkened portion of the burlap under my photo.
Go get creative with some of your not-so-perfect photos!

Love w/ Kaisercraft

Can you believe we are in August already? I can't, I'm a bit in shock to be honest.
But there are still plenty of warm sunny days left to spend with your loved ones. Here's a layout I posted on Speedy Scrappers Friday, with a couple of just those kinds of photos:

I used the Telegraph Road line from Kaisercraft that you can find in the store. It is just gorgeous! and perfect for these sweet photos of my girls "ambushing" their Dad with a kiss. So sweet!

I started with the backside of Telegram and then added bits of Message and Memo, along with the barcode strip from Telegram. Love when those strips are useable! I also added the diamond stickers from the sticker sheet.

I used a leftover cut out from my paper strip at the top along with the fun die-cut word shapes and this fun heart sticker.

You can see that I inked everything I could in a nice blue to go with all that awesome blue sky in my photos. Then I finished up with more layered die-cuts, stickers and a bit of journaling. The "this makes me happy" and "remember this moment" die-cuts were originally tags, but I just cut them down to fit my needs. Go ahead and cut it up!
Have a great Friday!

Winner, winner!

First I want to thank all of my followers!
I enjoy seeing what you're up to as much as I like showing what I've been up to. Thanks for sharing in this wonderful hobby with me. I hope we have many more years together creating and sharing.

Now for my winner of this super fun line At the Ballpark:
Oh and did I mention I'm adding in some of these awesome rub-ons? Seriously, we should call these Aww-rub-ons because they are so AWESOME they go on like butter, just use the tip of your fingernail, that's it! And they don't stick until you push on the backing, so if you drop them on your table, no worries!

These are a little darker in real life, perfect for this line! And

The winner is......................... blbabe1234!!
