Really, I don't believe this. First day of spring break and we get snow. Crazy!
Well, I have some layouts for you today.
We'll start with today's NAS #206 layout:
This is my oldest son Brayden. We took these pictures last Oct. I used some older paper and did an 'all about him' kind of lo, with all of the journaling strips describing him in some way.
I did some machine stitching and added pen work to finish it off.
You can check out the sketch and all of the other fab examples on the blog here.
Next up is a lift I did for the My Scraps & More lift it crop.
My daughter felt the urge to start running. So her and her younger sister dressed up and went out for the first of 'many' runs. This was the only day it happened. lol
I used a kit from 3 Bugs in a Rug that I just picked up from the Scrap Expo in SLC, Utah. I added pen work to this too and had fun tearing out my layered circle flowers.
You can check out the fun crop here.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to leave a comment, I always enjoy reading what you have to say. :)

Going GREEN for March
The challenge for March over at Scrap Our Stash is GREEN. I chose to go green with my layout.
I grabbed this cute photo of my little guy sleeping in his hiding spot, used lots of border punches on some green patterned paper scraps I had and added some Pink Paislee banners for my back ground. I also matted my photo, added a little bit of Bazzill Basics tape that I recently won from them and put some candy dots at each end of the title.
I knew where I wanted my title but couldn't find a good place for my journaling which is why it ended up behind my photo. I knew I wanted to add this little scrap of pp with "I imagine" on it and when I went for the hidden journaling it just seemed right to staple it on for a pull tab.
Thanks for stopping by and as always if you decide to take the challenge you can send it to Kathy to be posted on the blog. All the details are on the blog here.

A nutty Monday
It's MONDAY! Which means I have a Nuts sketch and layout for you. Here's the sketch:
Ahh, one pagers just speak to me for some reason. I love the simplicity of creating in that little space.
Here I used some photos of Jayse showing off on the trampoline. I used Nikki Sivils Noah line, some ribbon and string from my stash. I popped up a lot of the fussy cut elements, inked my edges with brown and added some stars that were laying on my table from a previous layout.
Next up is last weeks Nuts sketch. Here's the sketch and my layout:
I used Echo Park's Winter Park collection. These photos are all of Shylee sledding early this past winter. Her coat is a light purple so I pulled that color into my layout a bit with the ribbon and some ink and changed up the 5x7 photo for a few smaller ones.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the dt's examples on the Nuts blog and if you use the sketch, link us to your layout so we can come see. Happy Scrapping! :)
