Shark Attack!

Or lack there of, which was the disappointment of our trip.
But at least it resulted in some goofy photos on shore in the cage we found.

This is based on today's NAS sketch and it is SO easy and fun to use. The dt all came up with awesome lo's based on this sketch. The fun part is they all look so different from each other. So don't forget to check them out, here.
I used the TSS June kit for this lo and added some recollections 3D stickers. I cut one of the filter papers up to look like "bite" marks and used the space for my title. I did not have another 'h' in lower case for the word shark, so I cut a k down for it. I inked my edges and added my journaling through the wave in the pp. Other than that all I had to do was unbend all the shark photos my one year old kept running off with. :)

P.C.C.

I've got another NAS sketch for you! Here's the sketch:

Great sketch, don't you think? So many possibilities. I picked a few garden shot pictures from our trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii.

I cut the flowered paper for my borders and fussy cut a few flowers out for decoration, added some vaca ribbon for a border at the top. At first I wasn't sure what to do with the filters in the kit (TSS June), but I've had quite a bit of fun with them. I cut this one in half and sprayed them each with a different color of Glimmer Mist; Meadow Green and Juneberry Wine. I was planning to just use the green but I put the wrong kind of glue under it (don't use liquid with these suckers it shows through), which is why I added the purple half over the top. But I sure like the layers. :) Then I added some stickles around the edge to give the title a little more punch.
For the dot border at the bottom, I cut the swirls out of pp (saw Julie Walton do that with her dt kit and loved it) pop-dotted some and alternated them with dew drops. Then added some journaling with a white pen (love that!), some other pre-made embellies, and inked my paper edges.

Thanks for taking a look. Please feel free to leave a comment. :)

dead zone

This lo was based on a sketch for What's Scrapping. I loved that the cardstock color so closely matched the color of the dirt in the first photo, so I tried to keep the colors similar. The title was outlined in marker to help it pop, I inked my edges, added the stencil to the bottom and just went to town with the rub-ons.
Pictures are from a Hawaii trip last year and this was on the hike up to the falls we visited. I'm ready to go again, anyone wanna take me?

Aloha!!

Let's get right to it.

This lo is for today's new NAS sketch. It's a great sketch that will help you put together a lo in a snap.
I used some pics of my husband and I from our trip to Hawaii last year and the June TSS kit. I added the yellow cs, red stickles for the sun rays, blue staples, red ink for my edges and red pen for journaling, but everything else is from the kit. Don't you just love these papers? And the view? I could go every year...

This lo is based on the color challenge from What's Scrapping and I combined it with the My Scraps & More Got Talent Challenge, which was a sketch and add some bling. I am literally down to scraps from the May TSS kit, but the only things I added to do this lo was the bg cs, journaling spot and ink for my edges. Everything else is from the kit.
This is a picture of my youngest son and how we're struggling to keep him in his own bed at night. A family bed is not something I planned on having before I had kids. lol

4 lo's and a card

This is a photo of my youngest daughter after her first dance performance this season. She is such the little performer and as you can see, she's great at posing for photos. Gotta love it!
This lo is done using the June TSS kit (there might be one or 2 more go check it out here). I am in LOVE with this kit! I also used the What's Scrapping sketch for today, you can find it here, along with more examples using it.

I made this card for my cousin's wedding. I used the What's Scrapping card sketch here. I inked the edges of the papers, stamped the hearts on the pp, then cut them out and glued them to a corkboard embellie that I was using the back of because the design on the front didn't match. Stamped the Congrats, cut, inked and pop-dotted it to the card.

Guess what? I just won the Loops & Scoops line from Best Creations! I was so excited to win!! They actually let me pick from their 3 new releases. All gorgeous, but I had to go with this one because I have plenty of local carnival photos to scrap and it won't be long before we go this summer. So this is my first lo using the line. They sent it so fast! I expected to wait at least a week. I don't think I've ever gotten stuff sent that quickly.
My kids loved this Gee Wizz ride and went on it over and over. So I took a photo of the name to have on my lo. Other than a little fussy cutting for the tickets and a bit of mist spray on the bg, I pretty much just popped and glued. Very easy and very fun. I did doodle around "their" in the title to help it pop more. Almost forgot to mention that I used this for the got talent challenge at My Scraps and More.

This lo was just fun and it fits this weeks challenge at The Paper Variety. My lil man is so goofy sometimes. He gets the craziest hair after his nap and when he's on the go this is the smile he'll give you really quick because he does love the camera. lol
I used the May TSS kit for this lo. I'm down to scraps now, but I've really enjoyed this kit a lot!

This lo was originally for a color challenge on What's Scrapping but the challenge never got posted, so I figured it was time to put it up. I just loved the way this turned out. I loved the colors and had so much fun putting my sun together. I hand cut the rays and added a little bling to help it shine.

Play and a card

Time for another NAS sketch! This is what I came up with this round. I really like this sketch a lot. Find it here. I think it would make a great 1 page using either side also. These papers and embellies are all from Crate Paper.
I just love my little man. This day he was totally hamming it up for the camera. Cracks me up!

Next up a card for What's Scrapping.

These papers are really bright and wild, so I tried to split them up a little with the cs between layers. These are from BG's Lime Ricky line.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to become a follower. :)
