It's time for Scrap Our Stash's December challenge. December is a busy month, so your challenge is: anything you want!
As my challenge I chose to dig for some of my oldest products from my stash and I found some (a lot), but in the process I came across these papers and embellies from SEI and immediately thought of the photos I just got of my son's first stitches.
So these products aren't as old as I originally intended to find but at least a couple yrs. so I'm calling it good.
We had a great friend day for my 3 oldest right before Halloween, but it ended in 5 stitches for my son. Who would have thought 2 boys could cause so much damage just running into each other? I'm guessing they were going high speed for sure.
I had a great time putting this lo together. I picked the black w/stars for the background, cut a big strip of the white w/stars for the photo mat and border punched it with stars. I then cut another strip, used my scallop border punch and layered it under the white pp on the flip side (love double sided!). I used the cs comment bubble stickers for the title/journaling area after snipping off the "tails" and added the puff embellies in a visual triangle. The title Wild Boy and Tough Boy on the photo are Bo Bunny rub-ons, brads are also SEI and I added stickles to the punched stars for bit more fun. As the finishing touch I scraped and tore up the edges of the lo with my scissors. :)

Baking up some Holiday Cheer
Ok first I have to say "Thank You Echo Park!" They had a really fun blog hop and I won the collection of my choice! I used this super fun Holly Jolly Christmas line for this week's NAS sketch.
So here is week 192 for your viewing pleasure. You can find the sketch on the NAS blog.
I used kraft cs as my base, added the pp, photos, stickers and staples. I inked all my edges with Kaiser craft ink and added a bit of shine with liquid pearls. I popped up the Holiday Cheer sticker by putting it on cs, cutting it out and then using foam adhesive. The stickers in the journaling are some MS ones a friend gave me. The word sticker 'cookies' was outlined in silver and didn't have the pop I was looking for so I added liquid pearls to it too. (Originally I used silver to fill in the outlines, but when my son got into it I switched it up with some green. I like it better.)
Thanks for stopping by.

Bounce, Cookies for Santa & Fall Nature Watch
NAS week 191
This week's sketch was a fun one! All the activity in the sketch made me think of a wild party, so when I saw these photos of my son 'testing' out his new toddler bed I thought they would be great.
I used these awesome papers from AC's Nightfall line, Kaisercraft ink, stickles, MS border punch and the rest from my stash.
NAS week 190.
I had a lot of fun with this lo. It's photos of the cookies/treats my kids left for Santa and his reindeer last year. My daughter wrote this really long letter explaining who got what. It was too funny to forget, so I took close up photos. :)
I used a MS border punch on the top and side, punched and inked some white cs to add for the strip across the bottom, tied a bow in the ribbon, then used glue dots to hold it in place. The ribbon on the right side is folded back and stapled into place to make the pleats. All pp and embellies/stickers are Me & My Big Ideas except ribbon and staples from my stash and ink from Colorbox.
This next layout was for a fun challenge a bunch of friends and I do. We scraplift the lo before ours with a challenge twist. My challenge was to use 3 different fonts in my title, hidden journaling and the color orange.
So I put together this lo scraplifting my friend Shawn Lahr's lo. I used her hunting photos and basic design as inspiration and went from there.
This is a great way to get you scrapping and using up your supplies.
Hope you're having some fun this holiday season!
